Welcome to SQ’s Chem Universe

I’m working on metal-organic materials (PCPs/PCNs/MOFs) for a better world.

About Myself

Shiqiang

I am currently a Research Fellow in the Advanced Porous Materials Group (PI: A/Prof. Dan Zhao) at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and my research will focus on air dehumidification and hydrocarbon separations. Before moving to NUS, I did my PhD (2016.09-2020.06) and Postdoc (2020.08-2022.03) in the Crystal Engineering Research Group (PI: Prof. Michael Zaworotko) at the University of Limerick (UL). My PhD research interest is crystal engineering of metal-organic materials (PCPs/PCNs/MOFs) for storage and separation of gases, vapors and liquids. In particular, a platform of square lattice (sql) coordination networks are developed as Switching Adsorbent Layered Materials (SALMAs) for C2H2 storage, CH4 purification and C8 aromatics separation.
